Alesia specialises in numerous lip tattoo techniques: lip blush, dark lip neutralisation, aquarelle lips, lip liner, lipstick effect, and ombré lip tattoo. Lip tattooing improves the size, shape, colour and definition of your lips — permanently, and beautifully.
The procedure requires a minimum of two appointments, 4–8 weeks apart. At your first session, Alesia shapes and pigments your lips. At your second, she refines the colour and shape based on how your skin has healed. The result is a soft, lasting enhancement that reads as genuinely yours.
If you have a history of cold sores, a preventative antiviral medication is recommended before your appointment. Alesia will advise on this during your consultation.

The Techniques
Dark Lip Neutralisation
For cool or dark-toned lips: warm reds and oranges are used as a base to even out lip tone before a final colour is applied. Some clients require more than two appointments.
Aquarelle Lips
A watercolour-effect technique — soft pigment blended across the lips without a defined liner, for a naturally flushed appearance.
Lip Liner
A defined outline along the lip border — reshaping, correcting asymmetry, or adding a permanent precise edge to the lips.
Lipstick Effect
Full-coverage, opaque colour across the entire lip — a bold, lasting pigment that mimics a freshly applied lipstick.
Ombré Lip Tattoo
Lighter at the centre, deeper at the outer edges — a gradient technique that gives dimension and a natural-looking fullness.

How to Prepare
Please follow these preparation guidelines in the weeks leading up to your lip appointment.

Take cold-sore preventative medication if you have a history of cold sores

No lip filler 3 weeks before or after your appointment

Exfoliate and moisturise lips 3–4 days before your appointment

After Your Appointment
Aftercare & Healing
Keep the lips moisturised with A&D ointment throughout healing. Avoid spicy food, sun, steam, and picking. Your true colour is visible at the 30-day mark.
Day 1–3
Lips appear deep and vivid. Keep well moisturised. Avoid hot food and drink.
Day 4–7
Colour begins to soften as the surface skin exfoliates. Do not pick or peel.
Week 2
Lips may appear lighter as the deeper colour settles. Continue moisturising.
Week 4
True healed colour is now clearly visible. This is your carried-forward result.
Session 2
4–8 weeks post-first session, Alesia refines and perfects your lip colour.
